To celebrate the twins' second birthday with family and friends in Brazil, we decided to bring the stunning San Francisco views to this party. Guests first received a digital “Save the Date” followed by an invitation with a passport and air ticket to the destination.
In order to reproduce San Francisco’s atmosphere, the party venue was fully decorated with California signs and frames. On the entrance, a big moving crab welcomed the guests. Five large 3D fabric panels with images of Golden Gate, Lombard Street, Victorian Houses, Palace of Fine Arts and Cable Car, not only decorated the venue but also allowed guests to take pictures and feel like they were in those amazing places. Big felt crabs decorated the guests' tables. In the giveaway room over a pallet table, musical cable cars filled with Ghirardelli Chocolate were given to the children.
The dessert table manufactured in a Golden Gate shape specially for the party was filled with candies to create the flow on the bridge. Everything on the bridge was candies, including the lampposts made with fondant and chocolate. The main tourism points such as the Pyramid and Chinatown buildings were small cakes. For the boy, the major San Francisco teams were represented by 49ers, Warriors and Giants’ chocolate truffles. For the girl, Victorian Houses, Fisherman’s Wharf sea lions and crabs; and CAL cheerleaders were created using chocolate. People running on the bridge with Nike t-shirts, tourists and their cameras, “Blazing Saddles” cyclists, all of them were chocolate truffles. Super Shuttle, City Sightseeing, Uber, GoCar and School buses were also decorated cakes on the bridge. Tour Guides and personalized hot air balloons were delicious cookies.
