As Neil Armstrong said “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”. My son loves Space and everything related to this subject from Black Holes to galaxies.
After visiting Nasa in Houston, he was sure that the theme for his upcoming birthday would be Astronauts.
As the Universe is huge and creativity in infinite, we chose IDEA LABS to board all his friends on this amazing adventure.
The place was cute with many science activities related to the theme. I used the blackboard on the Happy Birthday room, to create a Space backdrop with starts and balloons.
With felt, I made an astronaut, his spaceship and an alien U.F.O.. The were so cute that my friend’s son from Brazil wanted it and I had to sew another one for his birthday as well.
On the dessert table, we had Nasa Rovers honey loafs; planet chocolate truffles; Nutella and Chocolate astronauts and aliens.
Astronauts macarons and planets brigadeiros also made this adventure sweeter.
A big kids table was prepared for our little astronauts with Nasa ice-cream and other amazing finger foods.
For giveaways, we had a cute book about (guess what?) astronauts.
Hope you enjoy these pictures and if you have a little princess at home, here is the link to our Cinderella party.
