2017 is almost over. In a few days, we will start 2018. This year was very intense. I learned many things and grew up as a person and as a professional. I met so many people that helped shape my future as a party designer. I “met” you, who is looking and liking (I hope so!) my party style – so a very special thanks to you! And as a party designer, there is no better time to celebrate than a New Year’s party.
To celebrate the end of this year and start 2018 in a good style, we created this small table to receive friends at home and cheers new opportunities to be happy, all the new good things that are about to happen, and a new life that is about to begin.
In this decoration, we used gold to recall the richness of life in all kinds such as fortune, health, friendship and opportunities. For the backdrop, we used confetti paper that you can find at any stationary store. Candies were simple, but all dressed up to the party: the vanilla and chocolate macarons were made in a regular shape, but they gained a touch of gold edible paint to represent the richness of opportunities. Cake Pops decorated as disco balls remind us that this is the time to celebrate! Donuts were covered with shiny cream and gold sprinkles. The pink touch gave femininity to the décor.
I believe that a New Year is a New Beginning. We cannot go back in time but we can shape a new future. And the most important part of this journey is you and the people that you want by your side.
